Breitling has announced the new “Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar Japan Limited”. This model is equipped with the Cal.B19, a perpetual calendar chronograph movement that was introduced in 2024 to commemorate its 140th anniversary. It will be sold in Japan in a limited edition of only 20 pieces.
Breitling “Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar Japan Limited” Ref.RB19201A1A1P1
A Japan-only model with a mother-of-pearl dial. Because it is made of natural material, the expression of each dial is different. Automatic (Cal. B19). 39 stone. 28,800 vibrations per hour. Power reserve approx. 96 hours. 18KRG case (diameter 43mm, thickness 15.62mm). 3 ATM water resistance. Limited to Japan 20 pieces. 8,888,000 yen (tax included).
The dial uses the mother-of-pearl that Breitling has used in many Japan-only models. The way it shines in rainbow colors in the light gives a dressy impression. The internal dials at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock feature a totalizer or small seconds coaxial with the calendar, while at 12 o’clock a fantastic moon phase with a realistic moon shines. The periphery of the dial is given an aviation rotation slide rule, and various calculations can be performed by rotating the bezel.
The 43mm diameter case is made of 18K red gold. Although it is a sporty chronograph watch, the unique splendor of the gold material combined with the mother-of-pearl dial gives it a sense of elegance. The top surface of the lug is polished, and the case side is a hairline, giving it a crisp finish.
It is equipped with a moon phase, a perpetual calendar, and a chronograph. While maintaining the iconic design typical of Navitimer, each display is laid out in a well-balanced manner.
The caseback is see-through, allowing you to admire the movement inside. The Cal.B19 is a movement that boasts high specifications, including a perpetual calendar that does not require leap year adjustment, a moon phase, and a chronograph, as well as a high-precision COSC-approved chronometer and a long power reserve of approximately 96 hours.
The “ONE OF 20” on the caseback indicates that it is a limited edition of only 20 pieces.
The belt is fitted with a black alligator leather strap. It comes with an 18K red gold folding buckle for easy attachment to your wrist.
