Since its debut in 1953, the Corvette has been one of America’s leading sports cars that has pursued the limits of technology, performance, and styling.
The combination of chrome exterior badges and bright red brake calipers gives the impression of tightening your feet. The body color is “Carbon Flash Metallic”.
The current model, the eighth generation, was unveiled in the United States in July 2019 and made its domestic debut at TOKYO AUTO SALON 2020 in January 2020. Domestic deliveries began in May 2021.
For the first time in the history of the Corvette, it is equipped with a mid-engine engine, and the Corvette brand’s first right-hand drive version is introduced to the Japan market. Equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 502 horsepower, it achieves both performance, operability, and comfort, such as ease of handling in everyday driving.
The critically acclaimed model has won the 2020 North American Car of the Year and the 2021-2022 Japan Car of the Year Performance Car of the Year awards in Japan and the United States.
Paying homage to the distinctive shining silver radiator subtank of the engine mounted on the first generation Corvette (C1), the “Silver Flame Series” is equipped with the “LT2” V8 engine with a sterling silver engine cover.
In addition, the “Engine Appearance Package” is adopted as a special equipment that vividly emphasizes its presence.
The coupe has a visible carbon fiber decorative panel that surrounds the engine, and the convertible has an engine bay panel with a clear window that allows you to catch a glimpse of the engine when the roof is opened and closed, making it possible to see the Silver Flame engine.
