Designed at Breitling’s movement workshop “Chronometry” in La Chaux-de-Fonds, where it is also manufactured and assembled, the calibre B19 is the latest evolution of Breitling’s in-house developed movement, starting with the 2009 chronograph movement, Calibre 01. It has obtained COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Certification Association) certification and has passed the brand’s own aging simulation.
It is equipped with a Breitling-like chronograph mechanism and a complex calendar mechanism that automatically corrects the moon for leap years and the 28th, 30th, and 31st days. It displays the day, date, month, and moon phase, and does not need to be adjusted for approximately 100 years. Additionally, it boasts an impressive power reserve of approximately 96 hours.
