From January 16th, “Marimekko” sold by Look will start pre-sale of Japan-limited anniversary bags to commemorate the brand’s 75th anniversary on its official online store.
The tote bag is designed to fuse the iconic prints “Unikko” and “Vickiruth” by Maiya Isola. It is produced at Marimekko’s printing factory in Finland. Black, blue, and red are placed on the base of the production. The lunch bag is 15,400 yen including tax, and the tote bag is 13,200 yen.
The denim series “Mari Denim” and new products from the home collection will also be sold sequentially. Maridenim offers “Unico” denim shirts, wide pants, “Kaydas” patterned denim shirts, and loose silhouette pants. The home collection includes plates with seaweed and “kivet” motifs, chopstick rests, and cork mats. It is characterized by a size that fits well with the Japan dining table.
