The “U991KP2” (37,400 yen) is available in 24.0 to 29.0 cm in a Japan-limited color lineup of “991 V2” in New Balance’s lineup of five region-limited colors. The 991V2 combines a classic pigskin suede, synthetic detail, and mesh design with performance elements such as fuel cell cushioning, absove SBS pods, and ENCAP functionality. The tongue label is emblazoned with the words “Made in England” as the first “99X” model designed and manufactured in the UK. The original “991V2” has been updated with a bright pigsuede color, waffle-hole mesh, and a reflective “N” logo.
Outside of Japan, the Asia-Pacific region will offer yellow colors, China will develop red, the United States will develop blue, and Europe will develop green colors.
