JR East Tokyo Branch Office and JR East Cross Station will sell special products commemorating the 150th anniversary of the opening of the railway from September to October 2022. The details are as follows.
○ Commemorative admission ticket “Shinbashi Station version” “Yokohama station version”
Contents: 6 D-shaped hardwood tickets (2 for each station of Shimbashi, Yokohama, and Sakuragicho), commemorative mount, commemorative bean plate printed with Nishiki-e (woodblock prints) related to railroads in the Meiji period
Validity period: From October 14, 2022 (Friday) to March 31, 2023 (Friday)
Price: 3200 yen each (tax included, shipping fee not included)

○ Original limited watch
Contents: Watch and original commemorative BOX

*The watch is made by Seiko Watch. The coloring is based on the No. 1 locomotive, and the dial is inspired by the first domestic railway clock.

Admission tickets will go on sale from 8:00 am on Monday, September 5th, and wristwatches and fountain pens will go on sale from 8:00 am on Saturday, October 8th (when both are purchased on the website “JRE MALL”). Wristwatches and fountain pens are also available at Omiya Station and Tokyo Station stores.
According to the JR East Tokyo branch office, the commemorative mount for the admission ticket was devised and designed by Shimbashi Station employees, and the wristwatch and fountain pen were designed by JR employees on site.
