【Project Background】
In 2019, Lassana achieved its first collaboration with Sailor Fountain Pen, a long-established writing instrument manufacturer founded in Hiroshima, through X (formerly Twitter). This encounter has fostered a warm relationship between the two companies that values “Hiroshima’s manufacturing”.
And in September 2025, Sailor Fountain Pen will release a new scented ink for dipping pens, “Dipton Bottle Ink Dipton Fragrance Ink for Dips.” 94% of employees have obtained Aromatherapy Certification Level 1 Lasana, which has continued to make products with a focus on fragrances, also resonated with this initiative. Through the common theme of “fragrance”, different genres of hair care and writing instruments met again, and a collaboration from Hiroshima was realized. In this project, the “Seaweed Silky Hair Spray” provided during the factory tour in Lasana uses the scent of Sailor Fountain Pen’s new ink for a limited time. We will deliver a “fragrance experience” that resonates with the five senses from Hiroshima.

Aiming to be a company that is friendly to people and the environment, Yamasaki started a factory tour in December 2007 at the Saife Shinto Plant (Asa Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture), which is the manufacturing base of the La Sana brand, with the aim of contributing to the local community as a cosmetics manufacturer in Hiroshima Prefecture. It has been used not only by general customers, but also by elementary and junior high school students for social tours and workplace experience learning at nearby junior high schools, and thanks to this, more than 34,000 people have visited the venue as of 2025.
