Japan Animation Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Kazuko Ishikawa) produces and manages the animation of Future Boy Conan, which celebrates its 45th anniversary in April 2023. In commemoration of the 45th anniversary, Imperial Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Location: Arakawa-ku, Tokyo, President: Yoshiro Hara) has launched the “Seiko Future Boy Conan 45th Anniversary Watch” on the PREMICO online shop from May 24, 2023.
In commemoration of the 45th anniversary of the 1978 broadcast of the classic anime “Future Boy Conan,” which is talked about as Hayao Miyazaki’s first directorial work, a collaboration watch with Seiko has appeared.
The dial is ocean blue that expresses the sparkling sea in the work. When light hits the delicate irregularities caused by stamping, the expression changes like the sparkle of a wave. Flying boats Falco and terns fly, and silhouettes of sharks and fish swimming in the sea float below. The tern teky decorated with the second hand on it flies freely with Lana’s thoughts on it.
Limited to 2000 points. The case back will be engraved with Conan and Lana art and edition numbers. The watch comes in a special box with wood grain tones. The inside of the box is also set with the art of Conan and Lana, and you can enjoy it as an interior when storing the watch. From May 24, 2023 (Wednesday), it has been sold at the PREMICO online shop.
