In the early days, the SuperOcean Slow Motion was a simple diver’s watch that eliminated as much as possible all but the functions necessary to save a diver’s life in the water. Clean lines, thick indexes coated with phosphorescent paint, square hands and contrasting dial rings remain the same, while maximizing legibility. The new SuperOcean follows this slow-motion design code but adds modern features such as a ceramic inlay bezel and high water resistance to 300 meters. The wide hands and indexes are coated with phosphorescent paint Super-LumiNova ® to make them easy to read underwater. It is also resistant to impact, sand and salt water. The New Superocean perfectly blends nostalgia for tradition with fresh style.
SuperOcean Automatic 42 Japan Edition
The first Japan limited edition model from the new SuperOcean is now available. The SuperOcean Automatic 42 Japan Edition is all white and features a sleek, active style. It retains its iconic design, such as the distinctive square minute hand and wide indexes, while the white dial features a red seconds hand and model name. The strap is available in white rubber. The folding clasp allows fine adjustment of up to approx. 10 mm and can be easily worn over rash guards or wetsuits. The stainless steel 42mm case features a unidirectional rotating bezel with ratchet. The scratch-resistant ceramic bezel ensures no wear or fading. The self-winding Breitling Calibre 17 has a two-year warranty and a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. It is also recommended as a pair watch with the SuperOcean Automatic 36 in the same color.
