BMC’s flagship model “Teammachine SLR01” released in Japan limited to 9 units, special price 1.375 million yen|BMC
Futaba has announced the Teammachine SLR01 JP Special Edition, a Japan limited edition model equipped with Shimano’s top-of-the-line Dura-Ace Di2 R9270 component on the Teammachine SLR01, the flagship all-rounder road of Swiss high-performance motorcycle brand BMC. It is a limited production of only 9 units in total, and the price is 1, 375, 000 yen (tax included). It has already started sales.
A special one with the highest level of components and high-performance parts
The Teammachine SLR01, which can be said to be synonymous with BMC, is the pinnacle of all-round road bikes that balances excellent rigidity, lightness, and comfort at a high level. This special edition limited to Japan is fully equipped with the latest Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9270 electric component in its flagship frame.
The cockpit features BMC’s original lightweight integrated full-carbon steering wheel system, ICS Carbon, which provides a clean appearance, aerodynamics and excellent rigidity. The wheels are made of 30mm rim-height Vision carbon wheels, and the tires are 700x25c of the high-performance clincher tire “AGILEST” from the Japanese brand Panaracer, and the suspension is composed of a wide range of races and long rides. The bar tape is Lizard Skins DSP 2, which has a reputation for grip. 5 V2 (black system) is adopted, and it is a specification that pays attention to details.
Dressed in stealth colors, limited production of only 9 units
The frame color adopts the fearless “stealth (all black)”. A specially designed bottle cage is also included.
Due to the limited number of components available, only 9 units were produced in total. Crank lengths are 170mm (5 units) for frame sizes 47 and 51, 172 for 54, 56 and 58. 5mm (4 units) are combined.
While BMC’s finished car with the same specifications in its home country costs about 2 million yen (reference price excluding tax), and the Ultegra Di2 specification that is available in Japan also exceeds 1.3 million yen, the special edition equipped with the Dura-Ace Di2 is strategically priced at 1, 375, 000 yen (including tax). Since it is assembled at a domestic factory, the delivery time is as short as about one week.
It’s a unique opportunity to get the best performance at a special specification and price.
