The Porsche 911 GT3 Artisan Edition is a Japan-only model that combines Porsche’s proud mechanical engineering with the spirit of traditional Japanese crafts “Edo Kiriko” and “Aizen dyeing”. Based on the idea that “true luxury resides in the details”, the Porsche Exclusive Manufacture creates it. It is introduced as a one-of-a-kind model that combines two worlds of excellence: mechanical engineering and artisan craftsmanship.
The exterior is based on white, with “Club Blue (W60) Paint to Sample” and light blue accents to express respect for “Japan Blue” symbolized by indigo dyeing. The side livery uses a gradient that symbolizes the flow of air and time.
The topic of the model is that the “Mantai Kit” handled by Mantai, who is also known as a specialist in Porsche GT models, is equipped as standard. It features 4-way adjustable coil-over suspension, an aerodynamics package for stable behavior at high speeds, a brake line set with steel sleeves, as well as an optimized underbody concept, front lip and flaps, carbon aero discs, rear diffuser, In addition, an aerodynamics package consisting of a reinforced carbon rear wing with large end plates is included in the Mantai kit.
The leather of the interior, including the dashboard and doors, adopts double stitching of Speed Blue on the inside and white on the outside, reminiscent of the duality of public roads and circuits. The black brushed aluminum illuminated door shield guard features the GT3 Artisan Edition logo. The pattern of the seat is inspired by traditional Japanese indigo dyeing, and this philosophy is reflected in the wallets and key pouches that are provided as accessories for the owner.
The vehicle key is also painted in the same white color as the body, and the graphics reflect the exterior livery are applied.
The power unit is the same as the existing 911 GT3, and is equipped with a 4-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with a maximum output of 510 PS and a maximum torque of 450 Nm.
