Since its founding in 1875 in the land of Le Brasse in the Jura Mountains of Switzerland,[AUDEMARS PIGUET]has maintained the tradition of family business. The “CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet” collection, which symbolizes the brand’s forward-thinking spirit that constantly pushes the boundaries of watchmaking, has announced a Japan-limited and advance model using precious natural stones.
The 41mm diameter “CODE 11.59” is a set of sodalite and malachite natural stone dials
The 41mm diameter “CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet”, which will be available only in Japan from May 2026, is available in two types, each with an 18K gold case and a combination of a brilliant sodalite and a malachite dial. Making a dial from natural stone requires an extremely difficult process. In order to cut the brittle and delicate rough stone to the utmost thinness, polish it without losing its color and brilliance, and secure it to the dial plate, it is essential to have the elaborate technique of a skilled craftsman. Because it is a natural material, no two expressions of stone are the same, and the value of a one-of-a-kind item further deepens the joy of owning it.
The in-house automatic movement “Caliber 4309” boasts a power reserve of approximately 70 hours
First of all, the dial of sodalight, known as the “Poet’s Stone” and a symbol of creativity and insight, is paired with an 18-carat white gold case for an extremely elegant finish. The deep blue dial features a pattern of white calcite from the ore, while the 18K white gold hands and baguette-cut diamond hour markers add a serene glow. The inner bezel and textile-like rubber strap are also based on blue, and the delicate contrast of the different materials gives the design an intelligent look.
The 38mm diameter is now available in a vivid turquoise blue Japanese pre-release model
On the other hand, the model with malachite, which symbolizes transformation, growth, and emotional balance, has a striking contrast with the 18K yellow gold case. With deep green veining and a silky sheen, the dial features yellow gold hands and 13 baguette-cut diamond hour markers, giving it a powerful expression that evokes the energy of nature. The inner bezel and strap are also perfectly aligned in tone, highlighting the collection’s unique crafted case construction.
These two models are powered by the Manufacture’s proud automatic movement “Caliber 4309”. With a diameter of 32 mm and a thickness of 4.9 mm, the movement consists of 225 components and has a long power reserve of approximately 70 hours. From the sapphire caseback, it is possible to admire the beautiful rotor finish that matches the case material, along with the precise movement of ticking the time at 4Hz.
Also in May 2026, a special model featuring a bright turquoise stone dial from the 38mm diameter “CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet” will be released in Japan in advance. Turquoise, which has been popular since ancient times as a talisman and a symbol of good luck, has a unique matrix pattern in its vivid blue, showing a different dramatic expression for each individual. The 18K white gold case features a satin and polished finish that infuses the timepiece with a contemporary energy that harmonizes with the turquoise colors. On the dial, white gold hands and rhodium-colored 18K pink gold hour markers serve as stylish accents while ensuring legibility. The inner bezel, rubber strap, and even the included alligator strap are unified in turquoise blue, paying homage to traditional craftsmanship while being characterized by modern fashion.
At the heart of this machine is the automatic movement “Caliber 5909”. Although it is thin with a diameter of 26.2 mm and a thickness of only 3.9 mm, it uses 174 components and 29 stones to achieve a power reserve of about 60 hours. Through the sapphire caseback, you can enjoy the sophisticated decorations on the rhodium-colored rotor, which is also a hidden charm of this machine. The timepieces that are limited to Japan and released in advance resonate beautifully with the brand’s proud “CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet” shape and the one-of-a-kind natural stone. It should surely capture the hearts of Japanese enthusiasts with their outstanding aesthetic sense.
