A rose gold rotor reminiscent of a helmet test
“TAG Heuer Carrera Caliber Heuer 02 Chronograph Japan Limited Edition” is a chronograph of 300 limited editions in Japan, finished in black and rose gold, inspired by ancient Japanese armor. The case back in rose gold and sapphire crystal expresses the solidity of the armor and helmet.
The dial has a black sunray finish, the chronograph hour and minute counters at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, and the small seconds at 6 o’clock are rose gold. The hour and minute hands, chronograph hands, applied hour markers and the TAG Heuer logo are rose gold plated.
The movement is equipped with the highly accurate Caliber Heuer 02. The movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. It has a total of 168 components and a power reserve of around 80 hours.
The rotor is made of rose gold, which is reminiscent of the helmet’s gold, giving it a heavy and shiny look. The case back of each watch is engraved with the serial number “001-300/300”, indicating that it is one of 300 limited editions.
