KOKUYO will release a limited edition model of “Campus Soft Ring Notebook” in collaboration with the “safari” series of “LAMY”, one of Germany’s leading writing instrument brands, from November 26th. The price is 935 yen. Loft, Tokyu Hands, and Itoya will start pre-sale from November 11th.
The “LAMY/Campus Soft Ring Notebook” is the first soft ring notebook to use “ledger paper” for the inner paper. The book paper is Kokuyo’s original base paper, which has a history of about 90 years. It has firmness and elasticity, and is resistant to folding and wrinkles, so it has excellent long-term storage. In addition, it is suitable for writing with a fountain pen because it has a moderate smoothness, does not bleed easily, and does not bleed through.
The front cover has the “Campus” logo and the back side has the “LAMY” logo, giving it a special feel unique to collaboration. The ruled lines on the inner paper are dotted grid rules that provide a good guide when writing letters and do not interfere with drawing sketches and illustrations.
The ring that closes the notebook is KOKUYO’s unique soft ring that allows you to write firmly to the edge of the page without being bothered by your hand.
There are three color variations: yellow, which symbolizes LAMY safari, and simple black and white. The size is A5 size.
In addition, LAMY Japan will release a limited-edition “safari” fountain pen with a one-tone finish that even the clip is the same color as the main shaft, and a “Campus” logo on the main shaft. The price is 4,950 yen.
“Lamy Safari Campus Edition Fountain Pen” is a special edition fountain pen that embodies “Less is more” with the iconic wire clip of LAMY safari finished in the same color as the pen body. The Campus logo is printed on the reverse side of the LAMY logo.
The stainless steel nib features a stable writing feel, and two types of nib sizes are available: EF (extra-fine) and F (fine), which are suitable for fine writing. The initial loading refill ink is black.
